Registering for training options

To register for one of the training options included in this suite, please first read the below.

  • It is important that you only register for yourself, and do not register for someone else on their behalf.
  • Each training option is listed below as Options 1 - 4. These numbered options correspond with what is outlined in the "Key facts" section at the bottom of the page.
  • You may choose to register for as many of the options as you like, but please consider your availability/capacity to attend.
  • When selecting your training/s please note the dates, times, and delivery mode/venue, as each option differs.
  • Options 1 and 2 both have prerequisite online learning that must be completed before attending the corresponding workshop.
  • Registering for Options 1 or 2 will automatically create a Learning Management System (LMS) account for you. You will receive an automated email about how to access your online learning. As a new user, you will be required to first reset your password -- please follow the instructions outlined on the system emails you receive.

Training options

Option 1: Single Session Thinking self-paced online learning & In Practice workshop (FULL)

This training option has two parts:

1. Single Session Thinking self-paced online learning (commence anytime)

You can learn more about this online learning here. You must complete your online learning before your workshop day.

2. Single Session Thinking In Practice half-day workshop (delivered via Zoom on 17 September, 9:30am -- 1:30pm)

Option 2: Single Session Family Consultation self-paced online learning & In Practice workshop (FULL)

This training option has two parts:

1. Single Session Family Consultation self-paced online learning (commence anytime)

You can learn more about this online learning here. You must complete your online learning before your workshop day.

2. Single Session Family Consultation In Practice 1-day workshop (delivered in-person at Mental Health Victoria in Melbourne on 24 October, 9:30am -- 4:30pm)

Option 3: Families and Trauma Work workshop (FULL)

This training option includes a 2-day workshop only (delivered via Zoom on 9 & 16 October, 9:30am -- 4pm)

This training option includes a 2-day workshop only (delivered in-person at Mental Health Victoria in Melbourne on 27 November & 4 December, 9:30am -- 4:30pm)

Can payment of a course fee be made in instalments?

No, course fees need to be paid in full before you can commence the course.

I cannot pay by credit card. Are there other payment options available? 

To arrange payment by BPAY or EFT, please contact LaTrobeProfessional@latrobe.edu.au 

I have paid the fee for a short course. When will I have access to the course?  

Access to courses is generally available two weeks in advance of the scheduled course start date, or as advised in the registration confirmation email.  Course materials are made available via our Learning Management System (LMS) for which you will be provided with your username and initial password.

Can I arrange payment with a Purchase Order?

Yes, we accept Purchase Orders. Please email to LaTrobeProfessional@latrobe.edu.au and our La Trobe Professional team will provide you with payment details and access to your course. 

I am getting an error when I try to log into my LMS account. Can you help?
